Abolish Cotton !

Get rid of the Confederate Flag !
It's divisive and reminds us of slavery !

Remove Confederate Statues -

Rename Confederate Parks
Memphis Confederate parks

Get rid of Hoop Skirts ---
(Bla - Bla - Bla )

On and on it goes, get rid of this -  get rid of that - yeeeesh,

I got an Idea, lets get to the root of the problem

LETS ABOLISH COTTON !

After all, that's what started the whole mess !

I'm sure we have enough synthetic materials as well as wool to cover the situation !

  1. SEED MONEY !
I remember reading sometime ago about Banking systems of the 1860s.
In order to obtain seed money to put in a crop, one of the major concerns of the bank was the assurance of a sufficient ( available ) labor force to "harvest" the crop.
At the time Free Labor was available ( not free, but paid labor ) but Free Labor was able to go where the money was at.
Slave labor was a sure thing, the labor could be owned or rented but was guaranteed to be there. And in order to get money from the bank a sure source of labor was mandatory.
I'm looking for the source, but has anyone else ever run across similar information ?

    1. I'd say abolish subsidies for Northern corn, corn syrup and ethanol. Along with all the special rights, privileges, exemptions and set asides that the Northern states enjoy as part of their conqueror's rights.

    1. Sure, we can start with Everything Lincoln after all he said -

"I will say then that I am not, nor ever have been in favor of bringing about in anyway the social and political equality of the white and black races - that I am not nor ever have been in favor of making voters or jurors of negroes, nor of qualifying them to hold office, nor to intermarry with white people; and I will say in addition to this that there is a physical difference between the white and black races which I believe will forever forbid the two races living together on terms of social and political equality. And inasmuch as they cannot so live, while they do remain together there must be the position of superior and inferior, and I as much as any other man am in favor of having the superior position assigned to the white race. I say upon this occasion I do not perceive that because the white man is to have the superior position the negro should be denied everything."
