Danville Decision - it ain't over !

Some folks are calling the Danville Decision a "VICTORY" !
In one way I guess it is, a defensive victory.
The folks that were out to have the flag removed did not meet with success.
The story is HERE .
So for now it's gonna stay, but I have a feeling that the efforts behind the attempted removal of the flag are far from over. Not just in Danville but across America. The P.C. crowd will continue to try to erase all visible reminders of the Confederate States of America.

Anyone remember these fine folks ?

or how about this fine fellow ?

And as long as folks like this are around

The attacks will continue !

But as long as folks like these

 these
and these -

you aint gonna hear -

The fight is far from over !

Confederate flag will stay on museum lawn.

The Confederate flag memorial on the lawn of the Sutherlin Mansion, in Danville VA, is staying where it's at.
In a terse news release the city, said that,--------
"under Virginia law, the city does not have the legal authority to remove the Confederate flag flying on the grounds of the Danville Museum of Fine Arts and History."

We were told ---

We were warned a long time ago.

"Day by day and almost minute by minute the past was brought up to date. In this way every prediction made by the Party could be shown by documentary evidence to have been correct; nor was any item of news, or any expression of opinion, which conflicted with the needs of the moment, ever allowed to remain on record. All history was a palimpsest, scraped clean and reinscribed exactly as often as was necessary."

- George Orwell, 1984, Book 1, Chapter 3

The "Reinscription" continues--

The Party slogan was
 “Who controls the past controls the future;
controls the present controls the past."
This was where “doublethink” came into play,

Yeeeeeeeesh !

I got another wonderful comment from a flogger

"Need to get VaFlaggers out to Danville, the art and "history" museum wants to remove the 3rd national for an exhibit honoring the United Nations! How has the UN come to be more acceptable then honor at our last capital of our Confederacy! Disgraceful."

At least I think it's a flogger, the one known as anonymous.  Good Ole Anonymous is constantly
leaving comments that seem to come from the PHANTOM ZONE.

Had this Buffoon taken time to READ the article he would have seen this --

The Danville Museum of Fine Arts & History's board of directors has approved a three-year strategic plan to create a new mission and vision that will drive new initiatives and partnerships.
As part of the initiative, the museum's board of directors recently asked the city "to remove the Confederate flag from the grounds of the Danville Museum of Fine Arts and History," according to a letter sent to City Manager Joe King.
The new theme for the museum, "The Last Capitol of the Confederacy, The Beginning of a United Nation," will help define the museum's goal to be more inclusive and improve the scope of its work, according to a news release from the museum. The new theme recognizes the museum's 40-year history and the legacy of the Sutherlin Mansion.

You can see the whole story HERE

After all folks it's "Hate, not Accuracy" in Floggerland.

A mind is a terrible thing to waste.
But mindless comments from floggers are the norm.
Yeeeeeeeeesh !
