No Comment Mr Governor ?

."fighting men respect other fighting men....period".

At the annual Veterans Day service at the Virginia War Memorial, wreaths were laid by local Sons of Confederate Veterans Camps in memory of Virginia's Confederate Veterans. In this photo, a Veteran of color, is seen helping another Veteran of color place one of the wreaths, while Virginia's Confederate Battle Flag-hating Governor stands just a few feet away.

Hollywood ----

Today I mailed out 50 "Remember"
5 packs with 10 coins in each.
I just picked out 5 friends on Face Book and mailed em a surprise.

I've also been stockpiling coins for a trip.

I'm thinking about going to Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond VA.

I don't think I'll have any trouble finding proper recipients.

As it stands right now I've got about 80 coins.

I'm  gonna make up about 200 total before I go.

So if you have someone at Hollywood let me know who and where and I'll do my best to stop by.

If you want a coin for someone contact me at

Davtatum@aol.com
or at Face Book
or here at the blog.

I'll just need a SASE and $1.00 postage.

I'll hook you up !

UPDATE !!!

I'm getting close -----

We need more like Jesse.

"A fourth grader from southwest Virginia is calling on people from all over the commonwealth to help celebrate his birthday. Instead of having a traditional party, 10-year-old Jesse Carney is opting to restore a historic cemetery in Waynesboro.

Sunday afternoon Carney, his family, and the Virginia Volunteers for the Confederacy joined together to fix up an aging confederate cemetery.

Many of the volunteers are descendants of confederate soldiers and with Veterans Day right around the corner, they wanted to honor those who came before them.

People from all over central and southwest Virginia got to work to fix up the Old Presbyterian Cemetery in Waynesboro. Carney says he can't think of a better way to celebrate.

“I came here because of my birthday and that's the only thing I want to do. And I'm doing it because of Veterans Day. I'm honoring the soldiers and want to do something good for them,” Carney said.

Carney says this is a part of his heritage and it feels good to honor his fallen ancestors.

Many of the volunteers were strangers before Sunday. They all connected with this cemetery cleanup via Facebook which is how they were able to organize this birthday tribute to Carney."

Way to go Flaggers !

The VA Flaggers in (positive) Action !

While continuing to Flag the VMFA

Danville gets the largest flag yet ---

( From the VA Flaggers F/B Page )

This memorial, erected on private property leased by the Virginia Flaggers, is a direct response to the ruling yesterday by Danville Circuit Court Judge James Reynolds, who dismissed a suit filed against the City of Danville after City Council passed an ordinance which violated state law and was specifically designed to allow City Council to remove the Third National Confederate flag from the Veteran’s monument on the grounds of the Sutherlin Mansion, the Last Capitol of the Confederacy.

A wonderful view of the flag is HERE
Good work Mr Lewis !

These Memorial Flag sites, and the others in development across Danville, are just one phase of a battle plan that is being developed and implemented to assure that the Confederate Veterans who fought to defend Danville and the Commonwealth, and our proud history and heritage will not be desecrated by the cowardly acts of politicians and scalawags who pander to the PC demands of the ignorant and hateful few.

The flag raised today, our 13th raised in the Commonwealth since the fall of 2013, was dedicated to the Glory of God, and in memory and honor of our Confederate Heroes. She will serve as a living breathing memorial, and a 24/7 reminder that there are still those of use with Confederate blood flowing through our veins who will not sit idly by while our heritage is attacked, history is erased, and our Veterans become the subject of derision Gen. Cleburne warned us about over 150 years ago.

"For every flag removed, a thousand more will rise to take its place."

I've made a fresh batch of "Remember" coins.
I will put them out soon.

Staying Positive !
