March 7 1864, J C Tatum joins !

This is my Grand Son JC Tatum,
 named after my Great Grand Father who in this letter has joined the Richmond Howitzers.

    Gee I guess I got the wrong flag on the cannon.
    The 2nd national was adopted on May 26, 1863
    and this letter is dated the 7th of 1864.
    Sheesh, so SUE ME !
