A few years Back the Tom Smith Camp SCV 1702,
Dedicated 11 headstones at a church in Suffolk VA
It's a Beautiful Church,
Oakland Christian Church, United Church of Christ.
I took some Photos of the event.
Each Stone had a man in uniform beside it
An Honor guard was also present.
Prayers for the 11 and all in attendance.
A good number of people showed up.
Taps was Played.
As the markers were uncovered a wreath was placed.
NO People wearing Sheets,
No burning crosses,
Just folks showing respect.
That's what it's all about !
