Checkmate in "4"



I was on my way home from work and saw a yard sale.
 I hate yard sales but took a chance !
I snagged a cool chess set for $5 ---



I got to thinking what would the setup be like if it reflected the actual numbers in the war ?

Now then this ain't got no statistical back up, but I came up with this----

The South was out gunned and out manned !
And it still took em (The Yankees) 4 years to go 90 miles for a "Checkmate"

    And the first 2 1/2 years of the WBTS the yankees were getting their butts beat almost at every turn!

    By saying there's no statistical proof to back up the picture, doesn't it completely nullify the post?

      No !
      The statistical data is out there, I'm just using a general overlook at the situation, not a "specific" set of numbers.
      Were I to use a specific set of numbers I might have to cut a piece in half.
