Now that the Democrats have control, all Confederate Monuments will be abolished.                            And there is not a Damn thing we can do to stop it !

Governor (Coonman) Northam and his Democrat cohorts will see to it !

Makes it a Class 1 misdemeanor for any person knowingly to authorize a child under the age 18 to use a firearm except when the person is under the supervision of an adult.
Makes it a Class 1 misdemeanor to purchase more than one handgun a month, some exceptions apply.
Makes it a Class 2 misdemeanor for an armed CHP carrier to consume alcohol in public places.
Authorizes localities to enact their own firearm laws during permit events.
Increases age from 18 to 21 that an adult can purchase a firearm.
Increases age from 18 to 21 that an adult can possess a handgun.

The Sky went Silent !

On 9/11/2001 I was working on the approach of runways 32 Left and Right at Oceana,



                                    a bright day without a cloud in the sky.



We heard on a truck radio that a plane had hit the WTC.
We all thought it was a small passenger plane and continued with our job. Not long after we heard a second plane had hit the towers. All work came to a halt as we listened to the radio.
The project manager joined us as information filtered in.
Some time later we were told to evacuate the airfield
.
If you live or work near  Naval Air Station Oceana  you know it's seldom quiet jets are always taking off or landing.


But on 9/11 the skys went silent - Nothing was flying !

The airstrip was sealed off and we had a heck of a time leaving it as we had been instructed to do.
The exits had been blocked with Barricades and had Service men with weapons preventing anyone from entering or leaving. I waited at the base of the Tower until an escort came and let us off the airfield.


                     A horrible day that I wish I could forget, but need to remember !

Lawful Action !

Every once in a while I'll repost a photo on Facebook.

The one below is popular once again.

I was working directly across the street at a construction site 

and took many  opportunities to visit Tredegar.

I was appalled that this statue was there ! So in order to display my feelings I purchased a small Battle Flag and placed it where you see it. I took the photo, then removed the flag, not wanting to cause disharmony for other visitors.

I still remain opposed to the location of this statue and favor it's 

lawful removal to a more appropriate location.

(Rocketts Landing ?  Lincoln did set foot there.  )

Unlike the mob at Durham -

who took unlawful action but were let off the hook by the DA.

"For my office to continue to take these cases to trial based on the same evidence would be a misuse of state resources," Echols said. "For that reason, I will dismiss the remaining charges against the remaining defendants."

(What a load of Horse Hockey !)

I favor lawful action !

An option for Lincoln's statue (my favorite) would be --



Melt it down on site as educational instruction.

Then cast a cannon !


But the influx of Carpetbaggers and continuing presence of Scalawags in Richmond,
make any favorable action unlikely.

A Dastardly Deed !

Well - Governor ( Coonman ) Northam 
has made good on his statement !

 Ralph S. Northam, the Democratic governor, said that Confederate statues
“should be taken down and moved into museums.”

Yall Remember Ralph don't ya ?

Democratic Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam confirmed  he was in a racist yearbook photo showing one person dressed in blackface and another in the KKK's signature white hood and robes, and apologized for "the decision I made to appear as I did in this photo and for the hurt that decision caused then and now."

But flip flopped and later said --

"I believe now and then that I am not either of the people in this photo," Northam said, denying that he had ever worn a KKK robe and hood or been drunk enough to forget a moment like this. "This was not me in that picture. That was not Ralph Northam."

OK OK Ralph so much for the B/S --
At some point before the photo went viral you had to have seen the page - Right ?
I mean who doesn't look at their yearbook photo ?

OK back to Current Events --

I suppose he found a way to Worm his way around VA. state law § 15.2-1812.
Which states in part - regarding war monuments--

"If such are erected, it shall be unlawful for the authorities of the locality, or any other person or persons, to disturb or interfere with any monuments or memorials so erected,"

For further clarification it states

"disturb or interfere with" includes removal of, damaging or defacing monuments or memorials, or, in the case of the War Between the States, the placement of Union markings or monuments on previously designated Confederate memorials or the placement of Confederate markings or monuments on previously designated Union memorials."

So on Aug 2nd 2019 crews showed up at Fort Monroe and began the Dastardly Deed !

Northam stated -
In a letter to Fort Monroe Authority leaders in April, Northam said: “These symbols are incompatible with the message and understanding we must convey at Fort Monroe this year.”

What a load of Horse Hockey !
I guess the Descendents of Confederate Veterans,
 who defended Virginia have no Value in Northam's world.


I think we should treat Ralph like an Old Jersey -

Retire him and hang him from the rafters !
